3.1 calculation of wall surface area of lng storage tank

diameter of outer cylinder of lng storage tank ø = 36m, height h = 26.5m

surface area of lng tank wall s1 = π · d × h =π × thirty-six × 26.5m2 = 2997 m2

the top cover of lng storage tank is spherical, with radius r = 30.6m and height h = 5.85m

surface area of lng tank top cover s2 = 2 π · r × h =2π × thirty point six × 5.85m2 =1125 m2

3.2 calculation of spray water volume of lng storage tank

spray water spray intensity of 3.2. 1 lng storage tank

3.3 calculation of nozzle quantity of lng storage tank

3.3.1 flow of single water mist nozzle

q ---- flow of each water mist nozzle, l / min

k ---- flow coefficient of water mist nozzle

p -- working pressure at the most unfavorable point of water mist nozzle, mpa

the type of sprinkler used in the tank wall is zstmb-40-120, spray angle of spray nozzle.
